Hops Madness is an iPhone App for homebrewers. The idea came to me one day while buying ingredients for a new batch of brew and my local homebrew supplier was out of the particular hops I needed for my recipe. After spending 15 minutes trying to find a hops substitution chart on my iPhone, I realized that a hops reference would be a great little app to have.

Hops Madness provides four features:

1. A handy reference for various hop types, providing specifications and possible substitutes
2. An AAU calculator that allows you to determine how much of a particular hop to substitute at a different alpha acid %
3. An IBU calculator that uses the Rager method to calculate the IBUs generated by a particular hops addition in a given recipe
4. An IBU substitution calculator that uses the Rager method to calculate the weight of hops with a different alpha acid % required to replace a hops addition in a given recipe, making the substitution more accurate in relation to the original intent of the hops addition for the recipe

This looks to be an issue with the fact that there is no configuration file on the device. Why you are getting an object disposed error is news to me. What version of Windows Mobile are you using? WinMo 6.1 or WinMo 6.5? That will help me figure out what is happening. In the meantime, I'll pull off a configuration file for you to get you past the popup where you can at least enter your user information.

Roni Segoly posted on FriendFeed: The response time is slow when I browse between the messages, sometimes the counter will update but I wait for the messages to refresh. I changed response time to 30s and it is better but sometime will get stuck for time till it refreshes. Maybe its my connection but I think I have good reception.

Has any one else noticed slow response times when navigating posts or feeds?
